McBAIN Derek. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, February 26, 1999 at the age of fifty-eight at St. Luc's Hospital, Montreal. Son of the late Kenneth and Constance McBain. So ever loving husband of Claire Haberlin. Cherished father of Kevin (Carrie), Kenneth (Luce), Gregory (Nathalie) and Darlene (Gerard). Proud grandfather of Gabrielle and Alison. Survived by his brothers Keith (Joy), Bryce (Beverly) and his sister Diane (Bob). He will be missed by mother-in-law Mrs. Ettie Haberlin; brothers-in-law Ralph and Frank; sister-in-law Helena (Peter), also by many nephews, nieces and friends. Visitation on Monday, March 1 between 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and on March 2 between 12 and 1:30 p.m. at the Falardeau, Bedard and Roy Funeral Home, 30 St. Joseph Street, Loretteville. Service to be held on Tuesday, March 2 at 2 p.m. in Valcartier at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice or to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
