Jan ZASCINSKI

ZASCINSKI Jan. Lawyer, passed away peacefully on March 12, 1999 in his eighty-sixth year at St. Mary's Hospital. Beloved husband of Maria Joanna Bartklewicz. Missed by his loving family and dear friends in Canada and Poland. Officer in the Polish Army, took part in the campaign in Poland in 1939. Served in the Middle East and Italy under British command. Decorated by many medals and awards. Emigrated to Canada in 1957. Member of the Quebec Bar for 30 years. Visitation on Monday, March 22, 1999 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke West. Funeral mass on Tuesday, March 23 at 11 a.m., St. Wojciech Mission (St. Columbia Church), 4020 Hingston Road. Service and reception to follow at Mount Royal Crematorium.
