WINFIELD, John Ernest Air Force Veteran W. W. II Born March 26, 1913 at Bancroft, died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at Perth Hospital. Beloved husband of Rose Madlin Henderson and the late Marion Wilson. Son of the late Albert Edward and Ethel Maud Winfield. Loving stepfather of Rose (Don) Pierson and William (Karen) Ballantyne. Cherished grandfather of Briar; Brandon; Alannah and Alissa. Dear brother of Wallace (Teresa) of St. Catharines. Predeceased by 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. John was a member of the United Empire Loyalists of Hamilton, the Royal Canadian Legion and the True Britian Lodge #14 GRC Perth, Ontario. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 21 at 11 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Perth.
