ELLIOTT Emery-Hugh Peacefully, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, June 2nd, 1999, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband for over 55 years of Laura (nee Barber). Loving father of Barbara (Oscar Nair), Claire (Telford Penfold), Frances (Ken Finan), Dulcie and Mary (Darcy Zakordonski). Predeceased by daughter Patricia and sister Viola. Survived by sisters Hazel Hines and Doris (Lawrence Barber). Cherished Poppa of Errol, Hugh, Stuart, Heather, Cathy, Tim, Laura, Elizabeth, Chandra, Alex, Carey, Ginger, Sarah and Derek and great-grandfather of Riley and Kyle. Emery is fondly remembered by his relatives and friends. Donations in memory of Emery can be made to the Pontiac Community Hospital C-T scan or the Elevator Fund of the Seniors Building, Shawville. Friends may call at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Saturday, June 5th, 1999 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Funeral Sunday, June 6th to Shawville United Church for service at 3:30 p.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
