GAGNON Alvin-Lawrence After a courageous battle with cancer, Alvin Gagnon passed away peacefully at Kemptville District Hospital on June 3, 1999 in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his wife Jean Nodwell. He is survived by his children Patricia (Glen) Madill, North Bay; Ray (Dian) Gagnon, Kapuskasing; Marlene (Jerry) Tompkins, Whitby; and Brenda Gibbon, Kemptville. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, Scott and Neil (Dana) Madill, Shari and Melanie Gagnon, Jennifer and Bryce Tompkins and Mathew, Jonathan and Warren Gibbon. Also 1 great-granddaughter Nicole. Fondly remembered by brother Elmer (Edith), Carleton Place, sisters Irene Bolduc, Sault Ste. Marie and Doris Lawrence Michon of B.C. Predeceased by brother Raymond (Carolyn) and sister Muriel Headrick. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Grant Brown Funeral Home, Rolston Chapel, Kemptville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral time to be decided.
