BLAIR CRAIG Emily (Retired Teacher - Former Ottawa Board of Education) Peacefully in hospital on Sunday, June 6, 1999, in her 67th year. Emily Craig, beloved wife of David and dear mother of Sandy. Loving sister of Gwen Greer (the late George) of Barrie, Morley Craig (Lil) of Chatham and Donald Craig (Linda) of Calgary. Special friend of Jean Wallace of North Gower. Predeceased by her parents Collingwood and Helena Craig, formerly of Carsonby and her sister Dorthea Gahagan. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Emily was an active member and organist of Carsonby United Church. She taught Kindergarten and Grade 1 for 30 "plus" years and will be remembered as a caring, energetic and creative teacher. Emily will be greatly missed by all her relatives, friends and colleagues. Friends may call at the Rideau Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Drive, Kars (east of Hwy 416), on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Carsonby United Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In memory of Emily, donations to Carsonby United Church, c/o Leslie McEwen, R.R.#1, Kars, Ontario, K0A 2E0, or the charity of their choice would be appreciated.
