KANAVAROS Konstantinos. (1921 to 1999). Died peacefully on June 8, 1999 at the age of seventy-eight surrounded by his family and friends after a valiant battle with leukemia. Cherished husband of Georgia for forty-two years. Deeply loved and adored dad of Mary and Eliana (Constantine Kyres). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Christina, Melissa, Andrew, Philip and Marissa. Also survived by his brother John (Dimitra) and many loving sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Very special thanks to an exceptional professional and person, Dr. April Shamy, and nurses Sharon and Thi at the J.G.H. Resting at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont, T.M.R. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. The funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, June 11 at 12 noon at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2455 Cote Ste. Catherine Road, Montreal, thence to Mt. Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Konstantinos Kanavaros Memorial Fund at the J.G.H. Foundation will be appreciated.
