WHIMP, Olive. At the Parisien Manor on Thursday, June 17, 1999. The former Olive Sarah Lillian VanAllen, formerly of 2674 Rushbrook Street, Montreal, Quebec; age ninety-seven years. Beloved wife of the late William George Whimp. Dear mother of Lloyd Whimp (Agnes) of Mississauga, Ontario and Mrs. Mae Ware of Ville Lasalle, Quebec. Predeceased by one son Leslie Whimp and one daughter Mrs. Lena Vanier. Dear daughter of the late Leslie VanAllen and the late Emma Ellis. Dear sister of Mrs. Dora Leishman of Martintown. Predeceased by four brothers Orly, Alvin, Lloyd, and Lelland VanAllen and by five sisters Mrs. Leticia Casselman, Mrs. Laura Locke, Mrs. Nina Fetterly, Miss Loretta VanAllen and Mrs. Edith Gatien. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 7 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Monday, June 21, 1999 for service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Captain Faye Shail of the Salvation Army, Verdun, Quebec officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Morrisburg, Ontario. The family will be in attendance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, from 12 noon until time of Service on Monday.
