FENSOM, Robert Macalister (Bob). Peacefully in hospital on July 4, 1999 from complications following a stroke. Loving husband of Bernice (nee Powell). Proud father of Paul (Jane), Susan (Kevin) and Carol. Adoring grandfather of Daniel, Cameron, Erin, Caitlin and Spencer. Brother of Eleanor Vinsant. Educated at McGill and Western Universities, Bob enjoyed a successful, professional career as an executive with Bell Canada. In retirement, his lifelong interest in sports and history led to several senior volunteer positions to which time and expertise were applied generously. Thanks for everything. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Home, Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Drive and Baseline Road), on Wednesday, July 7, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 4:30 p.m. Donations to the Queensway-Carelton Hospital would benefit many. Rest peacefully.
