BONGERS, Hendrick T. Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario, on Thursday, July 29, 1999, at the age of sixty-nine. Loving father of Mike (Gloria), Eric (Kathy), Ingrid, Paul (Brenda) and Edward (Charmian), brother of Yoka Zwetslott (Tom), Maria Allard (Dr. Pierre), Berni Brandt (Franz) and Gerda Racinskas (the late Joe). Predeceased by brother Marius. Special grandfather of Natasha and twins Dylan and Dakota. Survived by his former wife Glenda. Friends may attend a service to celebrate Hendrick's life on Monday, August 2, 11 a.m. at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 940 Rex Avenue, at Maitland, Ottawa. Private cremation.
