ROGERS PEERS, Madeline. The family announces the death in Bermuda on Tuesday, August 10, 1999 of Madeline Rogers Peers in her ninety-ninth year. Long time resident of Kennebunk Beach, Maine. Beloved wife of the late Roy Gillespie Peers; dear mother of James G. and his wife Pearl of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Michael and his wife Dixi of Chester, Nova Scotia and Velva Jane and her husband Robert Spence of Florida; mother-in-law of Diana Peers of Bermuda. Grandmother of James A. Peers of New York, Brenda Gaherty of Newfoundland, Elaine Peers of Alberta, the late Timothy R. Peers, Michael Peers, Jr. of Bermuda, Pamela Peers Snelling of Ontario, Dana Spence Croce of Australia, Kara Spence Goodwin of Ontario. Great-grandmother of Andrea, Michelle, Terra, Trent, Kirsten, Spence, Katherine and Andrew. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 16, 1999 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Ann's Church, Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport, ME. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk, ME. Arrangements are by the Bibber Memorial Chapel, Kennebunk, ME.
