Gladys Alma MARTIN

MARTIN, Gladys Alma Died peacefully at the age of 95 with family at her side on August 17, 1999. Previously deceased by her parents Charles Martin and Mary Martin (Clark) and her beloved brother Harold. Dear aunt to Dr. Helen Martin and Hazel Morrison (Harry). Great-aunt to Tal (Daniella), Dafna, Lisa (Andrew), Leanne and great-great-nephews Ryan and William. Miss Martin started her teaching career in a one room schoolhouse near Kars and later moved to the Ottawa Public School Board. Friends may visit the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Wednesday, August 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Thursday, August 19 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations may be made to the Family Support Group of Extendicare Starwood or to the Unitarian House.
