Wilfred JONES

JONES, Wilfred. After a lengthy battle with cancer, on August 28, 1999 in his seventy-fourth year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Joan Brown and their daughter Francis (Gabriel DeRapp), sons Wilfred (Helene Frechette) and Bruce (Evlyn Picken). Also left to mourn are his grandchildren Vincent, Tanya, Melina, Roxanne, Jeremie, James, Francis and Katlyn. He was the dear brother of Phyllis, Phoebe, Elenor, Kathleen, James, the late Alfred and the late Harry. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, many relatives and numerous friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 31 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at the St. James Anglican Church in Foster, Quebec on Wednesday, September 1, 1999 at 2 p.m. Rev. Wilber Davidson officiating. Please note, on Wednesday, the day of the funeral, opening will be at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
