Vera DEVLIN

RICHARDSON, Vera (nee Devlin) 81 years. On September 27, 1999 at Central Park Lodge. Beloved wife of the late William (1996). Loving mother of Alan Richardson and wife Susan of Toronto, Kathryn Gaffan of Windsor, Janet DeAngelis and husband Joe of London. Loving grandma to Sarah, Jennifer and husband Mike Cantin, Brent Andrea and John. Dear great grandmother to Daija. Dear sister of Ruth Swartz and her late husband Reg, Jean MacKay and husband Findlay, Gordon Devlin and wife Helen, Robert Devlin and wife Muriel, Cassie Devlin, Fern Spalding and husband Don, June Cox and husband Jack and Florence Schellenberger and her late husband Frank. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Vera was retired from Royal Bank of Canada (Tecumseh & Albert Branch) after many years of service. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel United Church and for many years sang in the choir and was a member of a Ladies Unit 3 & 4. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Friday, Oct. 1, 1999 from 6 until 9 p.m. Family and friends will be received on Sat., Oct. 2, 1999 at Emmanuel United Church, 1728 Lincoln Rd., from 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Dr. John Palmer officiating. A graveside service will be then held in Walkerton Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the Alzhiemers Society of Windsor & Essex County.(The Windsor Star)
