Mirko Rimac April 09, 1966 -October 09, 1999 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Mirko Rimac. Mirko leaves behind his beloved wife Lori and their two sons, Josef and Maximir. Beloved son of Ljubica and Jozo Rimac. Brother of Krunoslav, Suzi and Matija (Chris) Mlinaric and uncle of Stefani, Christina and Olivia. Grandson of Stana Peric of Croatia. Son-in-law of Mr. Ken McGinnis and Ms. Carole McGinnis. Brother-in-law of Mr. Mike McGinnis and family and Mrs. Dianna Alcorn and family. Grandson-in-law of Anne Miller. Beloved nephew of Stipe Rimac, Ivan Rimac, Marko Rimac, Janja Kajundzija, Ivan Peric, Jakic Peric, Bosko Peric, Janjusa Dzaja, Krista Lukac and their families. Godson of Ivan and Milka Krizan. Many friends and extended family members too numerous too mention in Canada, U. S. , Croatia and abroad. The funeral will be held Monday, October 18 at 10: 00am at St. Clement's Church, 642 West Demming, Chicago. In lieu of flowers a Trust Fund for Josef and Maximir will be established. A mass in memory of Mirko Rimac, called to God on October 9, 1999 in Zagreb, Croatia, and buried in the city of Chicago on October 18, 1999, will be held on Wednesday December 29, 1999 at Holy Cross Parish, 1883 King St. East, Hamilton, 7: 00pm. Following the Memorial Mass, a reception will be held in the parish hall. This is an opportunity for our community to express their support to the Rimac family and to celebrate the life of Mirko Rimac.
