POIRIER Aurèle 1934-1999 The family announces with sorrow his death on Tuesday, November 2, 1999 at the Golden Manor at the age of 65 years. Beloved son of Blanche Poirier and the late Lucien Poirier. Dear brother of Helene Bauman of South Porcupine, Robert Poirier (Angie) of Timmins, Yolande Larabie of Timmins, Lorraine Donovan (Don) of Calumet, PQ, Armand Poirier (Georgia) of Winnipeg and Estelle Thorn (Roger) of Timmins. Aurele is survived by his aunt Alice Monette of Timmins and Orianne Lebrun of Wawa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and several cousins. Aurele was born on July 2, 1934 in Timmins. He was a member of the CNIB and was also the President of the Friendship Circle Club. Aurele loved to play darts and bowl. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 1999 at St-Sauveur Church. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Timmins & District Hospital Dialysis Unit or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.(The Daily Press)
