John Gauthier

Gauthier John 1932-1999 The family announces with sorrow his death on Tuesday, October 19, 1999, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 67. He was born in Papineauville, Quebec, and moved to Foleyet with his parents at a very young age. He was employed as a telegraph operator with the C.N.R. for 39 years. Survived by his wife Gerry of Foleyet, his son Greg (Leslie) of Peterborough, his daughter Lynn Horton of Peterborough and his son Brad of Timmins, 3 beloved grandchildren R.J. and Natalia Gauthier and Dakota Horton, his sister Darquise Lalonde (Roger) of Orleans, many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, his nephew Gilbert Langis (Linda) and their sons Paul and Jason all of Timmins, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Allen and Lucienne Gauthier, his sister Georgette Langis and her husband Camille. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 22, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Notre Dame Church. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Foleyet Nursing Station or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the Notre Dame Parish Hall.
