RAINVILLE, Edward Frank of Massey passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elliot Lake on Tuesday, November 2nd, 1999 in his 76 year. Cherished husband of Theresa (nee Lachance) of Massey. Beloved soon of the late Frank and Adeline (Aubertine) Rainville. Loving father of Roger (wife Valerie), Paul (wife Debbie) both of Massey, Helen (Mrs. Richard Owen) of Espanola, Lucy Christakos (friend Mark Galea) of Toronto and Annette (Mrs. Ron Schroeyens) of London. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Tammy Owen Cox (husband Chris), Shelley, Ryan, Matthew, Jason, Kyle, Jessica and Athena. Dear brother of Neph (wife Marie) of Massey, Mrs. Irene Bisson of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, Louis (wife Betty) of Calgary, Alberta and the late Leah Burke and Shirley Belisle. Edward was Veteran of World War Two serving with the Earth Regiment of Stratford. He was also an Ordinary Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 432, Massey serving as Sergeant at Arms for several years and a member of the War Pensioners. Friends may call at the Massey Visitation Centre, Massey on Wednesday, November 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Massey on Thursday, November 4th at 1:30 p.m. with Father James Ketzler officiating. Interment in the Massey Roman Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial tributes may be made to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
