COUSINS, Egbert (Bertie). Peacefully, at home on Monday, November 8, 1999 in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of Beatrice. Loving father of Barbara Brady and her husband Noel (Honorary Consul for Jamaica at Montreal) and Marion Wallace and her husband Lawton. Cherished grandfather of Shane Brady and his wife Lisa, Marie Bouchard and her husband Claude and Celia Wallace. Dear great grandfather of Emily, Matthew and Antoine. Brother of Ena Knibb of Jamaica. Bertie received The Order of Distinction from The Queen for his service in education. He also served as Senior Chief Education Officer in Jamaica. Bertie was a member of Westgate Masonic Lodge in Mississauga. Friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church, 6945 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle, Mississauga on Thursday, November 11, 1999 from 2 p.m. until time of service in the Church at 3 p.m. Interment in The Catholic Cemetery, St. Jean Rd., Pointe-Claire, Quebec on Saturday, November 13, 1999 at 2:30 p.m.
