BACKMAN, FAY (Nee Rottenberg). On Saturday, November 27, 1999. Beloved wife of the late Maurice. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Joe Mabo and Dr. Howard and Lise Backman. Grandmother of Karen Schottenstein, David Mabo, Britt Backman and Lars Backman. Great-grandmother of Leah, Noah and Miriam Schottenstein. Sister of Connie Halickman, Syd Ross, the late Lillian Marco, the late Harry and the late Morris. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, December 1 at 12 noon. Burial at the Congregation Beth Zion Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
