SAFAR, Marie (nee Karib). Passed away in Montreal on December 5, 1999 at the age of fifty-two years. Marie Karib leaves to mourn Georges Safar, her children Nancy, Joseph; her sisters Rose, Georgette, her brothers Joseph, Edouard and Elie, as well as other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 3955 Cote de Liesse, St. Laurent. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 8 at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame de Nareg Church, 858 Cote Vertu, St. Laurent, thence to Les Jardins Urgel Bourgie of Montreal. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quebec Cancer Foundation, 2075 Champlain, Montreal, H2L 2T1, would be appreciated.
