Edward F. BELLIVEAU

Edward F. Belliveau Edward Francis Belliveau, 71, of Vista Drive, Moncton, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2004 at The Miramichi Hospital following a sudden illness. Born July 26, 1933 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Patrick and Ella (Polley) Belliveau. He was employed at Steeves Motors and MacDonald Pontiac Buick as a spray painter before his retirement. Edward was an avid sportsman, enjoying especially hunting and fishing. In his youth, he played hockey with Moncton Senior Hawks, baseball with Lewisville Keefe Cubs 1951-1955, and Memramcook Rovers 1961-1964. Edward was also inducted in the NB Hall of Fame, and the Moncton Wall of Fame in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Eva (Green) Belliveau; three children, Robert (Linda) and Richard (Karen) both of Moncton, Susan Richard (Maurice) of Dieppe; and six grandchildren, Christine, Shawn, Scott, Steven, Luc, and Josée. A sister, Catherine Melanson predeceased him. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at St.- Louis-de-France Roman Catholic Church (Lewisville). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
