TAYLOR, Charles Gray (Civil Engineer and Ontario Land Surveyor) At the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tuesday, January 18, 2000 in his 87th year. Charles G. Taylor of 266 Maple Avenue, Pembroke. Dearly loved husband of Glenna Taylor (nee Sutton). Dear father of Craig Taylor (wife Heather), Pembroke. Pappa Charlie to Philip and Blake. Son of the late Rev. James Taylor and Jeanie Ramage. Predeceased by brothers Angus (wife Irene), Kenneth (wife Vera) and Blyth Taylor (wife Mary); and sisters Jean Howard (husband Fred), Grace Cullen (husband Bill), Eirene McClelland (husband Trevor) and Carol Taylor. Affectionately remembered by many nieces and nephews. Charlie graduated from Queen's University in Civil Engineering in 1939, served with the Canadian Armed Forces overseas, became an Ontario Land Surveyor and retired as Renfrew County Engineer. By request, there will be no visitation. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Sunday, January 23rd at 2:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Calvin United Church or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
