QUENNEVILLE, Rene J. Passed away on February 2, 2000 at the age of 71 in Windsor. Beloved husband of 50 years to Jeanne (nee: Thibodeau). Dear son of the late Adrien (1975) and Leocadie (1975). Dear father of Richard and wife Susan of Thunder Bay, Robert "Bob" and wife Cindy of Windsor, Joanne Nantais and husband David of Windsor, Juliette Oleynik and husband Greg of Ottawa, Jeannette Fraser and husband John of Barrie. Loving pepe to James, Shawna, Matthew, Mark, Scott, Nicholas, Derek and Steven. Brother of Mrs. Marie-Anne Girard of Stoney Point, late Leo (1981), George of Latchford, late Alexandre (1983), Dr. Paul of LaSalle, Mrs. Josephine St. John of Paincourt, Polydore of Chatham and Gilbert of West Hill, Ontario. Mr. Quenneville retired from Ford Motor Co. in 1983 after 37 years of service. He was also a member of the CAW Local 200 and an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 578. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, February 5, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Therese Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Parish Prayers Friday at 3:30 p.m. Members of the RCL Branch #578 are requested to assemble at the Windsor Chapel for services Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness donations may be made to the Lung Association or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.(The Windsor Star)
