DUGAL, Lawrence (Duke) Passed away February 12, 2000, at Hotel Dieu - Grace Hospital, surrounded by his family, age 88 years. Loving husband of the late Joan (1996). Loving father of Sue & husband Larry Robert of Erieau, Michelle & husband Karl Von Lewinsky of London, Mike & wife Sharon of Windsor. Loving grandfather of Debra, Scott, Michelle, Brian, & Julia. Special pepe of Jessica, Joey, Shawn, Eric, & Jacob. Survived by sisters Loretta, Amelda, Virginia, Theresa, Anne Marie, and by brothers Stan & John. Predeceased by brothers Bill & Robert; sisters Grace, Gertrude, June & Joanne. Lawrence was a World War II Veteran having served in the Essex-Scottish Regiment, and a retiree of Union Gas Company. At the families request, no visiting to take place at the funeral home. Memorial Mass to be held Wednesday, February 16, 2000, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Center or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements under the Direction of Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 870 Wyandotte St. E. (977-9277). A tree will be planted in memory of Lawrence Dugal in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000. All are welcome.(The Windsor Star)
