Katherine KOBEL

BIDNYK, Katherine (nee Kobel). Surrounded by love and faith, passed away at the Verdun General Hospital on February 19, 2000 after a brief, brave battle against cancer at the age of eighty-two. Beloved wife of the late Jean Bidnyk. Adoring and proud mother of Stanislas (Jocelyne), Micheline (Dr. Paul Belisle). Caring grandmother to John, Eric, Peter, Helene and Stephane. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Many thanks to Dr. Santerre and staff of the Verdun General Hospital for the wonderful care she received. Resting at the Laurent Theriault Funeral Home, 512 de l'Eglise, Verdun. Visiting hours Monday, February 21 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dame de la Garde Church, 785 Brault Street, Verdun at 10 a.m. Thence to Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
