BRAZEAU, Gaston Gustave - Of Cambridge, formerly of Kitchener, after fighting a great battle with cancer, Gus died, peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at 72 years of age. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Dolores (nee Morin); loving father of Louise and her husband Graham Gardiner of Kitchener, Robert and his wife Janet of Montreal and Pierre and his wife Pam of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He will not be forgotten by his grandchildren, Trevor, Matthew and Michelle Gardiner, also Jessica and Joshua Brazeau of Portsmouth N.H. Gus was very active throughout his entire life including being a Ski Instructor at Chicopee Ski Club, also playing Tenor Drum in numerous pipe bands and being a competition judge both in Montreal and Ontario. Gus also worked for many years being involved in international sales with Tridon Ltd. Most recently he founded the automotive division of Interspan Canada. Family invited relatives and friends to Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, 742-4481, for visitation on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers were held Friday, 7 p.m. Afternoon prayers will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, May 27, 2000 (today) at 12:30 p.m., then procession to St. Aloysius RC Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 o'clock. Interment Lachine Catholic Cemetery, Lachine, Quebec. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.(The Kitchener-Waterloo Record)
