Walter (Mac) MacKenzie Perrin April 20, 1912 - April 21, 2001 (Founder of Perrin’s Flower Shop and Brooklea Golf and Country Club, Midland) At the Huronia District Hospital on Saturday April 21, 2001in his 90th year. Mac Perrin of Midland, best friend and cherished husband for 66 years to Vera Martin. Dear father of Pat Cowden and her husband Ernie of Midland and the late Shirlie Gignac. Loving grandfather (Bampa) of Kim Campbell and her husband Bob, Kevin Cowden and his wife Helen, Nicole Vieira and her husband Andy, and Mark Gignac. Great grandfather of Graham, Michelle, Samantha, Gracie and Harrison. Will be sadly missed by his sister Norma McGee. Predeceased by his brothers Howard, Stuart and Norman. Resting at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Monday April 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 539 Hugel Avenue, Midland on Tuesday April 24th at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Huronia Hospital Foundation (HDH) would be appreciated. Services under the auspices of the Caledonian Masonic Lodge #249 A.F.& A.M., Midland will be held in the funeral home Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
