(Retired Gillies Bros. Lumber Co.) Suddenly but peacefully in hospital at Renfrew on Monday afternoon, January 1, 2001. William Wallace "Bud" Gillespie of Renfrew; formerly of Braeside, at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by his mother, Mary Ellen Gillespie in 1984. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Nee Swan) and of the late Eileen (Nee Hodgson). Dearly loved father of David Gillespie (Frances) of Bridgenorth, John Gillespie (Beth) of Bridgenorth, Patrick Gillespie (Patricia) of Arnprior and Dale "Dodie" Cavanagh (Scott), also of Bridgenorth. Cherished "Grandpa" of Christopher (Patricia), Stephanie, Sean, Eric, Kate, Lisa, Michael, Brian, Amanda, Robert and Tressa. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday (time to be announced).
