Mary Margaret GALLAGHER

With a great sense of sadness, we mourn the death of Mary Magdalene (Maddie) Joyce (nee Gallagher) at Ottawa on Tuesday, January 9, 2001 in her 77th year. Maddie was predeceased by her loving and supportive husband Robert Kevin Joyce. Loving mother of Maureen, Michael, Patricia and Nuala. Devoted grandmother of Siobhan, Jeremy, Damon, Meredith, Alexa, Nicola, Liam, Stephen and Heather, and great-grandmother of Freja. She will be missed by her sister Myrtle Perry, brother John Gallagher, her sons-in-law Shukri Amin, Peter Sagar and John Bond, daughter-in-law Lesia Joyce, granddaughter-in-law Shannon Curry, and her many friends. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street, Ottawa on Sunday. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick's Basilica. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
