Peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday January 11, 2001 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen nee Breen. Loving father of Virginia Reynalds (Murray), Judy Keith (Reginald), Karen Schroeder, Bill (Joanne), Bob (Sharlene) and Barry (friend Valerie). Cherished grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Survived by his sister Betty Gamble of Watertown, N.Y. Friends may call at Racine, Robert and Gauthier (300 Olmstead St., Vanier) Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12 noon followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 p.m. A reception will be held at Le Centre Culturel de Vanier, 270 Marier Rd. (at the corner of Montreal Rd.) after the Service. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their professional compassionate care.
