Elizabeth MACKENZIE

On January 19, 2001 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, N.B. Born in Montreal, daughter of the late Kenneth and Christina (MacPherson) MacKenzie, and wife of the late Benjamin Dickenson. She worked for over twenty years at the Reddy Memorial Hospital; working on the 4th floor, chronic care unit until her retirement at age seventy-three. Survived by daughter, Jean Coughlin of Fredericton, son, Douglas Dickenson of Montreal; four grandchildren, Wendy (Fredericton), Rick (Fredericton), Doug (Edmonton) and Kelly (Montreal), six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Sawers of Montreal and Mary Butler of Ottawa. She was predeceased by sister, Catherine (Rena) Smith, and brother, Kenneth MacKenzie, both of Montreal. A memorial service was held on January 23 at Smythe Street Cathedral, Fredericton.
