Mourned by his living and devoted wife Coby. Predeceased by his first wife Alida. Daughters Clasiena (George Atsma), Duncan, B.C., Ellie Hogeveen, Russell, On. Son Hendrik van der Laan, Russell, On. Step-daughter Margaret (Terry Kirby), Stittsville, On. 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Brother Folgert van der Laan (Anna), the Netherlands. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean, on Friday, 2 - 3:30 and 7 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church, Gilbey at Merivale Rd. on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
