Josep John Jr FUROY

Furoy, Josep - July 02, 2004 - Mr. Joseph John Furoy Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home on June 29, 2004. Joey was an avid sports fan and will be remembered for his love of hockey, track and field, football and karate, winning many awards. He loved spending time with his dogs Sassy and Lady. Joey also enjoyed spending time with his family and could always be counted on to protect and support his younger sister. He will always be remembered for the hours he spent drawing and designing hockey arenas and football stadiums. Joey is survived by his parents Janice and Joseph, sister Janet of Vancouver, grandparents Helen Plemel, Doreen and Jean LeClerc and Anne Marie Neczypor. Also survived by numerous other relatives. Joey was predeceased by his grandfather Leo Plemel and cousins Charlene Ray and Jason Furoy. Funeral services for Joey will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Church with Father Richard Kowalchuk officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home with visitation following until 9:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation and the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated.
