COOK, Melvin - Passed away at his residence in Thornton on Saturday December 13, 2008. Mel, beloved husband of Carol Cook. Loving father to Amanda, April and Adam. Son of Doris and the late Roy Cook. Youngest brother of Paul (Linda), Velma Issac (Rudy), and Valerie Dixon (Bryan). Mel will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOMES, (Yonge Street and Minet's Point Road) Barrie, on Tuesday December 16, 2008 from 7-9pm. Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday December 17, 2008 at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children Toronto or to the SPCA in Mel's memory.
