GOBIN, Sophie Rose Alma. Born in St. Pierre, Manitoba, passed away in White Rock, B.C. July 5, 2004. Sophie was predeceased by her beloved husband "Ben" in 1998. Survived by her loving family, seven sons Pete, Arthur (Alice), Claude (Carla), Adrian, Leo, Ed (Carol) and David; four daughters Blanche (George) Breaks, Alice (Lu) McGowan, Elizabeth (Herb) Forrest and Joan (Don) Black; thirty-six grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; nieces, nephews and other family members. Friends may pay their respects at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 14615 - 16th Avenue, White Rock on Thursday, July 8th from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 9th, 2004 at 2pm from Star of the Sea Church, 1153 Fir Street, White Rock.
