BELANGER, Clifford On July 8, 2004, Clifford Belanger of Edmonton passed away at the age of 79 years after an extended illness. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Eileen; seven children, Michelle (Chris Bamford), Sandra (Jorge Silva), Don (Cathy), Denise Postey (Guy), Yvette Lackton (Gerry), Doug (Corrina) and Simone Timmer (Roger); eleven grandchildren, Rick (Sam), Sean, Erin (Mario), Scott, Heather, Emily, Morgan, Danielle, Blair, Jada and Slade; and one great-grandchild Mateo. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Phil, Doug, Lois and Muriel, all of Ottawa, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents and six siblings, and by his infant grandson, Tyler and Tyler's dad, Tony Home. Our gentle, caring "Papa" will be remembered for his eternal optimism, good humour and love of music. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 10821 - 96 Street. Reverend Jim Holland officiating. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the nursing staff of the ICU and Unit 61 of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
