Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, April 21, 2001 at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Konschuh). Loving father of Joseph and Renata. Devoted grandfather of Victoria Lynn. Dear brother of Carole Kolbus. He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Phyllis Konschuh, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and by many long time and special friends. Special thanks to those friends and relatives who gave support and help throughout his stay in hospital. The family would also like to extend a very special thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit at the Civic Hospital. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, at Richmond Road, on Monday and Tuesday, April 23 and 24, 2001 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue at Byron on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. memorial donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa or to a charity of your choice.
