Blanche ROWE

(nee Rowe). Went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2001 aged seventy-three years at the Jewish General Hospital. Beloved wife of Astley. Loving mother of Beverly (Fitzroy), Patricia (Clinton), Vanderbilt, Lorna. Step-mother to Lydia. Sister of Mernel, Hilma, Ruthel, Winston and the late Birdie. Special friend to Pertina. Survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, May 14 at 1 p.m. held at the First Baptist Church, 6215 Cote St-Luc Rd (corner West Hill).
