BOIRE, Paul C. Sr. P. Eng, B. Eng, M. Eng, B.A. (Veteran WWII, Captain RCEME Corps) Monday, August 23, 2004, after a short battle with Lung Disease, Paul Boire Sr., age 82. Beloved husband of Margaret E. Toomy (Peggy). Loving father of Jennifer (Jacques Nolin), Suzanne Raven, Paul C. Jr., Edmond (Donna), Margo, Cathy Fawcett (John), Mary Donoghue (Patrick) and Barbara. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Dear brother of George (Gail) of Toronto and the late Roland and Irene Boire. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Paul had a varied career: President of CADAPSO, Executive Director of the Metric Commission Canada and other public service positions after being Chief Engineer then President of Measurement Engineering Ltd. of Arnprior for many years. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St. Isidore's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 2 p.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
