Elizabeth EVANS

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Thursday, July 5, 2001 of Mrs. Betty Simmons (nee Evans) of Euston Street, Charlottetown and formerly of Montreal, in her seventy-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Albert Simmons. Loving mother of Bill (Pam), and Lillian of Charlottetown, and Rosie (Tom) McCarron of Peterborough, Ontario. Devoted grandmother of Mark and Ryan Simmons and Madison and Matthew McCarron. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33-35 Longworth Avenue, Charlottetown. Funeral Sunday afternoon with funeral service at Trinity United Church at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Visiting hours Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Montreal Gazette, July 7, 2001
