Peacefully, with family by her side, in hospital at Almonte, Ontario on Saturday, July 14, 2001. Phylvia Legree, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Weir. Loved mother of Anne Sweeney (Ervin), John Weir, Douglas Weir (Christine), and Gordon Weir (Marjorie). Cherished grandmother of John Sweeney (Leigh), Kevin Sweeney (Darlene), Charlotte Francis (Kevin), Janet Burnside (Darren), David Weir (friend Laurie), Jacqueline Brandino (Ben), Treena Lowry (Bill), and Trent Weir. Loved great-grandmother of Derek, Jake, Brooke, Jessica, Kyle, Grace, Arianne, and Kate. Dear sister of Mary Ford, Willard Legree and Randolph Legree. Predeceased by sisters Edith Gardiner, Rose Cleroux and Lillian Pye and brother Lorenzo Legree. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m., followed by Funeral Service in St. John's Anglican Church, Innisville at 2 p.m., with Rev. Harry Brown Officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Donations to St. John's Anglican Church, Innisville would be appreciated by the family.
