ELBAZ, Estrella (nee Meguira). Peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2004. Cherished wife of the late Hanania. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Edmond and Suzanne, Suzy, Armand and Rita, Henri and Sandy, Penina and David Schwartzman. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Jonathan, Michael, Daniel, Nathalie, Audrey, Avi, Valerie, Ilan, Joshua, Rachelle, Johana, Deborah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Salomon and Madeleine Meguira of Montreal, Felix Meguira, Denise and Jacques Bougeard, Rosa Attias and Sol Abbou all of Paris, Esther and the late Max Meguira of Montreal, the late Leon Meguira of Israel, the late Simone Tangy of Israel, the late Suzanne Alberteau of Paris. The family would like to thank Jasmin, and the whole team of nurses and orderlies of 4 West of the Jewish General Hospital for their outstanding care and professionalism. Special thanks to Doctor Harvey Chang, Doctor Janice Cohen and Tanweer for their care and compassion. Funeral Service took place from Paperman and Sons, on Tuesday, August 17, 2004. Burial at the Congregation Spanish and Portuguese Cemetery, Mount Royal. Shiva strictly private. Services to be held at the Spanish and Portuguese Congregation mornings and evenings.
