James Irie

passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 98, on the afternoon of May 23, 2026. He was very well known in his area by all and will be missed by his son Patrick, Diana, sister-in-law June, his nephews/nieces, as well as many neighbours and daily encounters. Husband, for 37 years, to our dearly departed Huguette Bacon and a proud father to Patrick, he appreciated good meals, good conversation and dessert. An avid fan of golf, he received a certificate for a hole-in-one when he was 40! We are honouring his life and reunion to Huguette and their dog Tootsy, and to Scout, with a simple ceremony on June 28, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the St-Hilda Chapel, located at 6341 Av. De Lorimier, Montréal, H2G 2P5. Please note: street parking only. We thank everyone for your sympathies, prayers and thoughts.
