passing of Roger Salhany on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Pavillon Florence et Charles Poissant Center. He would have celebrated his 85th birthday in September of this year. He is survived by his loving sister Sally and brother Ted (Marilyn). Predeceased by his sisters Soulange Salhany Kteily, Prudance (the late George Tadorian) and Nancy Salhany and his brothers Elias (Rose) and Fred (the late Norma). Much loved favorite uncle to many nieces, nephews and their families. He will also be sadly missed by his cousins and many friends both here and in Ottawa where he lived for several years. A special note of thanks is extended to everyone who visited and took such good care of him during the past few months. Your kindness and compassion were much appreciated. Roger had a great sense of humor and always had a joke to share with anyone who was with him. He enjoyed life - spending Friday evenings with his brothers, visiting good friends in Ottawa and vacationing every year in Puerto Plata. He had a kind and generous nature, always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. He touched many lives and will be remembered by each of us in a special way. The family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue Montréal, Qc H3P 0A1. A funeral mass will be held at the same location on Monday, August 3, at 11:00 a.m., followed by Burial at Mount Royal Cemetery at 12:30 p.m located at 1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V 2P9.
