Obituary Date of Death: September 27, 2026 Age: 78 years Residence: Laterrière François Fradette, beloved husband of Mrs. Iris Foster, son of the late Mrs. Mariette Simard and the late Mr. René Fradette, passed away peacefully at the age of 78. He was a dedicated and loving father, brother, and friend. A man of great kindness and humor, François will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy includes his contributions to his community, his family, and his cherished memories shared with loved ones. Funeral Arrangements: Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire du Fjord, 1186, 2e Rue, La Baie. A celebration of life will be held on the same day at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of the Coopérative funéraire du Fjord. His ashes will be interred at the St. Alphonse Cemetery at a later date. He leaves behind his wife Iris Foster; daughters Marie-Eve Fradette (Steeve Boucher) and Renée-Paule (Ashley Pauzé); grandchildren Jeanne F. Boucher, Eugénie, William François Pauzé, and Delphine; siblings Roger Fradette (Fabienne Simard), Suzanne (Réal Ouellet), and Dorothée; brother-in-law Florent Deneault; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Expressions of sympathy can be expressed through donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Saguenay.
