TROYER, Peter James. 1930 - 2004. It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of Peter from complications following surgery. He passed away peacefully on August 4, 2004 in Montreal. He was the beloved and devoted husband and best friend to Loretta and cherished and loving father of Michael (Lindsay), Anne, Paul (Ann-Louise) and Lise (Al). He will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren: Cameron, Robert, Katie, Hilary, Michelle and Claire. He was the darling brother to Betty (Don) of Ottawa, John (Myrtle) of Markham and Margaret (deceased). Peter was a man who lived his life to the fullest. To this day, he was a passionate skier, golfer and tennis player. He cherished the time spent at Orford Lake with his family and friends. Peter loved his family with a quiet intensity. Visitation Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Clarke, 222 Highway 20 (Cartier Ave. exit 49), Pointe Claire. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7 at Saint-Edward the Confessor Church, 98 Aurora Avenue, Pointe-Claire. In his memory, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated. The Montreal Gazette
