Peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2001, at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Katheline (nee Froats). Loving father of Wilfred (Micheline), Thelma Blair (John), Jackie Droppo (Charles) and Bob of Winchester. Predeceased by daughter Iverene McIntosh (the late Allan) and sons, Jim "Junior", Jack (Christine), and infant son Bobby Daniel. Cherished son of the late Almon and the late Maude Summers. Predeceased by sister Willow, and brothers Garnet, Clare, Gerald, Ollie, Glen and Harry. Fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church Street, Winchester, on Friday, September 21st from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., and on Saturday September 22nd from 10 a.m. until the time of Service. The Service will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, at the Winchester Wesleyan Church at 11 a.m. Rev. Thurland Brown presiding. Interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
