(nee Leech) Eganville, Ontario Alice Lett of Eganville, peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles Lett. Unconditionally loving mother of Barbara Hinsperger (late Cyril), Irwin (Marilyn Middlesteadt), Nelson (Audrey Miller), Betty Marsh (Doug), Norman (Ivah Jean Hunt), Beverley Sterling (Bryan), and Bonnie Diamond (Joe). Doting grandmother of 25 grandchildren (predeceased by Lyle and David Lett), 40 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Dear sister of Myrtle Smith. Predeceased by her parents, Samuel Leech and Melinda Pierce, her sisters, Grace Shaw, Susie Lett, Kay Cracknell, her daughter-in-law Margaret Lett (Cloutier) and her son-in-law Wilfred MacDonald. Visitation at the Laundry Funeral Home, Eganville, from 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville, on Friday, September 28th at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Gale Edmondson officiating.
