Peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2001, in St. Mary's Hospital, Ethel Fokes age 82. Beloved wife of the late Harold Fokes. Daughter of the late Lucy and Wellington Smart. Loving mother of Richard (Donna), London; Suzanne (Bob), Waterloo and Peter (Laura), Toronto. Sister of Amelia Bretzloff. Predeceased by brothers Asa (Ruth), William (Annetta) and Orval (Winnifred) and sister Florence (Richard) and second husband Andrew. Cherished grandmother of Marasol. Survived by sister-in-law Lorraine and brother-in-law Brome and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Ratz Bachtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener, Ontario from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
